Nataliya loves making people happy and healthy by undertaking fitness training. Comming from a strong gymnastics background she continues coaching kids for Special Olympics and finds it very rewarding.

• Certificate III in Fitness - 2003
• Certificate III in Gymnastics, Aerobics, Aquaarobics Instructor - 2003
• Certificate IV in Fitness - 2005 to 2008
• Lis Mills Body Balance and Body Attack Instructor - 2003

• 8 years as a Professional gymnist
• Since 2003 Nataliya has worked as a Personal Trainer in the fitness industry
• Nataliya is also a Gymnastics Instructor for Special Olympics Australia

A Moment With...Nataliya

What was your childhood ambition?

To be like Ukrainian gymnastics champion Olga Strapeva. She was the first Ukraine to win a gold medal at the Olympics, and I was lucky enough to be also coached by her coach as we come from the same town. I always wanted to wear tights like hers.

What do you love most about your job?

All the belly laughs I have with my clients during our sessions – helps with their ab workouts!

If you weren’t a Personal Trainer what would you be?

A coach in any sport.

What job have you had in the past that is very different to what you do now?

Promoting Malboro cigarettes in the Ukraine!!!

 

What is the strangest thing you have ever had to do at work?

My clients asked me once to stand on my head for as long as I could – they got bored before I finished!

Apart from keeping fit, what are your favourite pastimes?

Going to the movies and spending quality time with my friends.

Name 2 people, dead or alive, that you would invite to a dinner party and why?

Dad – I miss him
My boyfriend (he makes everyone laugh)

What is your ideal holiday location?

Hawaii – Ahhhh
